Give (Wo)man’s Best Friend a Lil’ Something Sexy

Renee Ryan, owner of Sexy Beast is what you might call a “dog person.” After a day of shopping for her pooch Austin, she realized that there were no everyday maintenance products out on the market for pooches. She saw tons of shampoos, conditioners and bath products, but no styling systems to achieve the same quality of a professional groom.
Given her background in marketing fragrance and beauty products for big name companies, she decided to come up with her own line of grooming products available to folks right at home. Sexy Beast brigs beauty to the pet market! And with the Westminster Dog Show under way, where the crème de la crème canines are perfectly coiffed, this product launch has perfect timing.
It is a three-step process that results in a glossy, deodorized, healthy and delicious smelling coat. There is also a fresh smelling perfume for dogs as part of the line. Sexy Beast is the only canine collection that is 100% Vegan and Hypoallergenic. For those of you who are looking to pamper your pets this Valentine’s Day, this is the perfect way to show your love and appreciation for (wo)man’s best friend.
To read about the Sexy Beast process and each of the products,
- Step One: Sexy Beast Fresh, $26, is a botanical water infused cleanser formulated to deodorize, protect and condition your dog’s coat. It also helps to neutralize odors, condition the skin and regulate oil production. Spray it liberally onto your dog’s dry coat, brush through and towel dry for healthy and lightly fragranced hair!
- Step Two: Sexy Beast Signature Powder, $26, is a botanical powder with a subtle shimmer intended to add body to your dog’s coat. It will also absorb the excess oils in your dog’s hair, soak up residue and act as an insect repellant. The powder is available in three shades: light, medium or dark. Simply shake the powder on your dog’s dry coat and brush thoroughly.
- Step Three: Sexy Beast Gloss, $28, is a laminating mist intended to restore luster and shine to your dog’s coat. It hydrates, conditions, deodorizes and makes dull thirsty hair look shiny and revitalized. It has a light fragrance in it to make grooming visits less frequent too. All you have to do is spray it onto your dog’s dry coat and brush to a polish.
- Sexy Beast Parfum is a deliciously refreshing blend of bergamot, vanilla-infused musk, natural patchouli, mandarin and nutmeg oils. It has a woodsy, hearty scent to it that would not bother or irritate either you or the dog since it contains a low alcohol fragrance content. It is also hypo-allergenic and did I mention the adorable bottle is shaped like a dog bone? You can buy this parfum in two sizes: 3.4oz for $65 and 1.7oz for $50. ARPH!
